Craziness!

Around these parts, the sun comes up at approximately 5:36 a.m. How do I know this, you might ask? Well, for some reason the past 4 days I've woken up with the sun. This is all good when I'm out camping, but when I'm home in my bed, I would really like to sleep to at least 7:30. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to break this record I seem to be setting. After I forced myself back to sleep for a few more hours, I got up and got ready for church. Thanks to a sunny day yesterday and semi-erratic applications of sunscreen, I have some pretty funny tan lines. Oh well, it goes with the territory. I went to church at Calvary instead of New Life this week. Good service and excellent hymns. I really enjoyed it. Brittney Matthew's graduation party was later in the day, so I spent some time hanging out there, did the whole CHS mingle thing for as long as I could. I did get to see Amanda Kellogg for a while. Her family adopted the cutest little boy ever, Josiah. He had huge brown eyes and this crazy 'fro going on. He was such a little imp, getting into everything with a twinkle in his eye. I really think I want to adopt my kids. Afterwards, Dad suggested that I go to Target to get contact stuff...really the last thing I felt like doing. He wanted to go though, so I gave in and went too. We walk in and who happens to be there but my two best friends! I was so excited, its the first time I've seen them this summer. They were going out to dinner and kidnapped me. We went to a cute cafe in the center of Milford and just hung out and caught up on stuff. It felt so great to sit and talk with them again. It doesn't matter how long its been since we've seen each other, we pick up right were we left off. I've never had friends like them before,they're really more like family. We're planning to go to the beach sometime soon and they're coming over for dinner one night next week. Then after that we're going to over to Ame's art studio to throw some pots. Its great to have friends at home:-) The summer is definitely starting to look up. Okay, I think I'm going to put some pictures in the album I just bought...
